Clover to Clover Run 2012
Thanks to Mick Kelly’s Irish Pub and many other Burien merchants, the Food Bank received $14,000 in 2012from this very special event.
Albertsons 2012 – Holiday Giving Campaign raised over $12,000.00 proving over 300 holiday meals for local families in need.
Safeway, SeaTac and Burien – 2012 Holiday Giving Campaign supported HAFB with over 1,000 bags of food for families in need.
QFC – Normandy Park – 2012 Holiday Giving Campaign supported HAFB over 700 bags of food for families in need.
Empty Bowls in January 2013
Thanks also to the Moshier Community Art Center Potters, who teamed up with the Highline Area Food Bank and Discover Burien to sponsor Empty Bowls in January 2013, raising over $8,081 for the food bank. Watch for the next Empty Bowls event in January 2014.
